History of Youth Full Maine

Youth Full Maine was founded in 2019 as the first pilot replication of The Locker Project. Our projects initially focused on developing on-campus food pantries. As the COVID-19 pandemic led to school closures, we expanded our programs to include drive-through food distributions to help feed members of the York County community of all ages. YFM was granted its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in late 2020. YFM is led by the executive director Katie Brown, who leads day-to-day operations and management.

 

Youth Full Maine is governed by the board of directors an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Tax documentation and information can be provided upon request.
